Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus November 2022

This week we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on November 8at 11:20 am EST (find your time here).

With Full Moons, the Moon and Sun and opposite each other in the sky. This creates tension, but also completes a cycle and encourages us to find a solution to move outside of or away from the opposing forces as play.

This Full Moon is a Lunar Eclipse, meaning that the Earth is between the Sun and Moon in the sky. As with any Lunar Eclipse, something may be highlighted for us now that seems to come out of nowhere. Once hidden secrets may now be illuminated and new information is available for us to work with.

A Full Moon in Taurus is grounding, helping us dig our feet into the earth and feel like we are rooted down, secure and safe in our place. A Taurus Moon gives us room and space to invite pleasure into our day and lives, especially through our 5 senses. Think massages (touch), aromatherapy (smell), beautiful artwork (sight), soothing music (sound), and delicious food (taste).

Because this eclipse is in Taurus, a spotlight is shining for all of us on the foundation we're starting from. The Universe is pointing out where we've cut corners to save time and money - from the building materials to the eye to detail in our work, this eclipse is here to shake things up and show you where you need to start over again and rebuild - because only on the sturdiest of foundations can your dreams grow.

With this eclipse we have the Moon conjunct Uranus in Taurus, and the Sun conjunct Mercury and Venus in Scorpio. Meanwhile, ALL of these are square Saturn in Aquarius. What does all of this mean? Are feelings are going to be amplified and we may even feel overwhelmed. The square to Saturn shows us the way through, so look to your routines, structures, boundaries, and responsibilities to give you a framework to work with your emotions instead of against them.

As a side note, eclipses aren't the best for working with, energy wise. The energy is unpredictable, so while releasing intentions may work, manifesting intentions usually go sideways. If you're looking to manifest, it's best to wait until the New Moon later this month (which, astrologically wise, looks gorgeous!).

Because of the Uranus influence with this eclipse, we are bound to have a surprise or two, so any well laid plans may go astray. Turn inward and follow your intuition on this one.
