With Full Moons, the Moon and Sun and opposite each other in the sky. This creates tension, but also completes a cycle and encourages us to find a solution to move outside of or away from the opposing forces as play.

As this Full Moon is in Aries, themes of new beginnings, fresh energy, courage, drive, willpower, and focus are all at play. Aries is all about the individual, about being the first and winning no matter what. While Moon is in Aries, the Sun is in Libra. Libra is the peacemaker of the zodiac and wants everyone to find common ground - particularly because Libra has the gift of being able to understand everyone's point of view.

Because the Moon is in individual-driven Aries and the Sun is in collective Libra, this is highlighting the see-saw balance of the group or collective vs the individual. How can we hold what's best for us, while also keeping in mind what is best for the group?

This Full Moon is also acting as a wake up call of sorts, being conjunct Chiron and opposite Venus. Chiron is an asteroid based off the myth of Chiron the Centaur. Chiron had the knowledge of healing and was known for his medicine work, although he could not heal himself of his wounds. With the Full Moon sitting alongside Chiron, one of our wounds is being brought up for us to examine. The Full Moon is illuminating how we've grown from, or even outgrown, this wound. What have we learned from it? Are we ready to move on and release it? With the Sun and Moon opposite Venus, our relationships are in the spotlight and we might very well be looking at a relationship wound that needs healing so that we can move on. Look to your Full Moon horoscopes below to get an idea of what area of life you might be working on healing from a past wound. For example, if you are a Scorpio Rising, this Full Moon may bring up an issue that needs healing around your work/life balance or health.

Even though Pluto stationed direct the day before this Full Moon, we're still going to be feeling the impacts with this Full Moon. Pluto is the planet of power, destruction, and transformation. It often represents major events like war, earthquakes, volcanoes, and sudden changes or transformations. Pluto can add a sense of intensity to this Full Moon, a weight or sense of things being in transition and not quite stable. Pluto is at 26 degrees of Capricorn, so look at what house of your birth chart that falls in to get a sense of what area of life you have been reviewing the Pluto themes of power and how you might be feeling Pluto stationing direct. For example, 26 degrees of Capricorn for me is my 3rd House, which is the House of Communications. I've been learning more about speaking up and using my voice and the power I either wield or shy away from by doing so.
